PW is back with a photo assignment!

I was beginning to wonder if she decided to drop the whole photo contest thing, but I was happy to see a new post today about a phone photo assignment.

I have been capital 'C' Crummy on taking ANY sort of photo's lately but I rallied today and got 'er done.

A few phone photos of randomness.

No, I didn't even move from the drivers seat.

(I may or may not becoming lazy...)

It strikes me that a description of these shots probably isn't necessary.

Spring soccer

My oldest had her first soccer game yesterday.

She was sooo excited... 

ummmmmm

okay not really. 

She cried before we left and said she didn't want to go, her shoes were too tight, she doesn't like wearing soccer socks (shin guards) and she was not having a good day.

 Her words.

But by golly she made this super duper, really important play of the game:

 UGH!

Why does this always happen to me?!! 

She gets the ball and 'hello!' some dude gets in my way.

*smacks forehead*

(I'm pretty sure this was a game changer of a play, yup. uh huh.. you just can't seeeeee it.)

okay now, said 'dude' has moved out of my field of vision.

"GO BUG!"

She always runs with her arms and tongue out, its strategic....I think.

 Though I do fear one day she is going to biff it and bite her tongue something fierce.

Oh the Humanity!

*bites nails*

Sports can be scary for this blood/injury panic inducing mom.

*deep breath*

And she's off!

I'm hoping Spring soccer will go better then Fall soccer. 

Last season she was hit in the face twice with the ball, so I'm certain she has paid her dues!

Thought we did conjure up the idea that it might be a good thing.. she has another loose tooth that REALLY needs to come out! 

Happiness

I haven't joined a I Heart Faces challenge in a while, but when I saw that the theme this month is happiness,  I had just the picture in mind.

Even though this isn't the bust your gut, laugh out loud, pee your pants (<------eek!), version of happiness....
I can just tell by her content little expression how genuinely happy she is.

Its the simple things.

kites and hypotheses

Its been WINDY the last two days.

And while I hunkered down fearful of a rouge tree might crash into our house, pinning me down, rendering me helpless...

My girls headed outside with their new kites.

They're fearless I tell ya!

and very strategic:

"If the wind speed is traveling 52 MPH due East and I am somehow rendered weightless, I hypothesize my Barbie kite could possibly carry me all the way to Toy's R Us in approximately 46min."

 "I hypothesize that I could steal all your toys while your gone."

AND I hypothesize my belly will soon be eclipsing my feet.

Oy vey.

Moving a long...

 the weightless/flying issue remains to be seen, 

so until then....

"CHEESE!"

And I also must note, my husband was the proud flier of a Transformers kite, 

picked out by his fearless girlies.

His fearless girlies who asked me, "Mom what the heck are Transformers?"
